Outcome:  Client served 36 days in custody

Description:  Client was ordered to show cause as to why parole should not be revoked. Prosecution wanted 150 days in custody.

Outcome:  Misdemeanor conviction – no fine, no custody, informal probation

Description:  Client with 2 strikes was charged with felony burglary.

Description:  Defendant was charged with 20 felonies (including two violent strikes), a handful of misdemeanors, and numerous “out on bail” enhancements. The four separate cases were concurrently pending cases in both Riverside and San Diego county.

Outcome:  Client was granted a 6th reinstatement to PC 1000 and was given additional time to complete the program

Description:  Client was set for felony sentencing after previously being reinstated on PC 1000 5 times. Client hired me to reinstate him a 6th time.

Outcome:  Probation was terminated after only 14 months, 22 months shy of term imposed

Description:  Orange County case where client had previously been convicted of a wet reckless and sentenced to 3 years of probation. I was retained to terminate probation and expunge the record.

Outcome:  Felony was reduced to a misdemeanor and ultimately dismissed

Description:  Client required 7 reassignments to PC 10000. The 6th reassignment was initially denied, reheard a week later, then granted.

Date:  Mar 10, 2015

Outcome:  Client pled to the sheet (pled to the violent strike). Prior to sentencing, Attorney Sam Zakhour submitted voluminous mitigating documentation. At sentencing, after substantial oral argument, client was sentenced to no custody and formal probation.

Description:  Client was charged with violent strike felony. No offer from the people. The people sought 365 days in custody followed by a stayed 2 year prison commitment.

Outcome:  Cases were severed a week before trial and client was granted Formal Probation with Inpatient Rehab

Description:  Defendant charged with multiple felonies. The only offer was 3 years prison in a package deal with the co-defendant facing 3rd strike.

Outcome:  Client was re-sentenced and neither parole nor probation was imposed. Client has approximately 10 months of parole remaining.

Description:  Client was released from prison pursuant Prop 47 and placed on county parole for 1 year. Client did not want to be on parole or probation.
